It is my privilege to present you with this Women's Empowerment Award from Berkeley College.
You were among more than 100 women who were recognized by Berkeley College during an awards ceremony that took place on Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021, at our campus at 3 East 43rd Street in Manhattan. The in-person ceremony was livestreamed to viewers at home.
As Berkeley College Commemorates its 90th anniversary, we are proud to celebrate women in leadership who have supported out Women's Entrepreneurship Week (WEW) events over the years.
The theme of this year's WEW program was "The Future is Women." Leaders from government and all sectors of business shared resources and insights about combating microaggressions; New York's recovery; Women's rights and overcoming barriers to equality;
and how to build an effective global media platform,

Since the launch of Berkeley College Women's Entrepreneurship Week in 2015, more than 1,500 students, entrepreneurs, business and community leaders have attended the program. Students who have participated in WEW events have also been afforded internship and career opportunities.
Your generosity in sharing career advice, along with your personal experiences and journey to success, have helped our students develop confidence, and awareness of how to make the most of opportunities. WEW has also been instrumental in elevating the voices of women on critical issues impacting gender equity in business, entrepreneurship, higher education, media and government.
Berkeley College was founded in 1931 as the Berkeley School to prepare women for secretarial careers and careers in business. With more than 65,000 alumni, Berkeley College has grown into a degree-granting institution serving a diverse, co-ed student body preparing for careers in a range of fields, and is recognized as one of the top colleges in the nation for online education.
in 1931 women chose the Berkeley School to prepare for their "chosen place in the career world" with limited options. Today, that place is anywhere a woman choose to be, with endless possibilities.
